Top 10 startup teams selected at nat'l camp

Top 10 startup teams have been selected from 30 teams on the "student to startup: Chapter One" at the finale pitching of the National Startup Camp at Sheikh Hasina national youth development center on Tuesday.

ICT Minister Mostafa Jabbar and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmad Palak attended the program and handed over 10 lakh Taka to the top 10 startup teams as prize money, said a press release.

On March 8, student startup program started with a slogan of "My invention, My dream". Around 2,000 young entrepreneurs participated at that program. With the help of Young Bangla Campus ambassador three teams were selected from each university for national startup camp.

More than 300 students of 120 entrepreneurs' team from 40 universities were selected for national camp. On March 15 in 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Young Bangla, a sister concern of Center for Research Information (CRI).

Student to Startup was held according to the MoU. Project Director of iDEA (innovation design and entrepreneurship academy) Sayed Mujibul Haque, ICT division secretary NM Ziaul Alam, CRI executive director Sabbir bin Shams, executive director of Bangladesh computer Council Partho Pratim Dev attended the program, among others.
