Beauty of Madhabpur Lake at stake

The beauty of Madhabpur Lake in Kamalganj of Moulvibazar is at great threat because of violating rules by the tourists. General Secretary of Hill Protection and Development Society of Kamalganj upazila NIrmol S Palash told The Asian Age that tourists enter inside the tea garden violating the order, tear the leaves of tree and throw them away into the lake which destroying the beauty of beautiful Madhabpur lake.

He also added that moreover some tourists throw wasted food or plastic packets inside tea garden which creating virus and many trees of tea garden are being attacked by the virus. Environment lovers people of Moulvibazar district wants to save the beauty of Madhabpur Lake for themselves as well as the tourists seeking for necessary steps from administration.
