8th Annual Women's Empowerment Conference Set

Strategies to empower and improve the lives of females will be offered at 8th Annual Women's Empowerment Conference set for Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Doubletree Hilton South Bay in Torrance.

The three-day event, sponsored by The Company International, will be hosted by Apostle Beverly "Bam" Crawford, TCI founder/president and pastor of Bible Enrichment Fellowship International in Inglewood, and Gabrianna Crawford, TCI vice president who also performs as the artist, Punky G.

The conference theme, "Accelerate…Change Your World," highlights TCI's mission of providing life navigation tools and resources to aid women in achieving their goals and dreams.Referring to the theme, Apostle Crawford explained that women may have to "change your attitude, change your city, change your tax bracket, change your health, change your debt, get refreshed and learn how to do it now!"

"Not only has The Company International helped struggling women become overcomers, but we have spent an equal amount of time being a source of encouragement for women in business and professionals working with them to help restore our communities by bringing a greater awareness of financial freedom and empowerment," said Apostle Crawford.

Many leading motivators will participate as workshop presenters. They include Dr. Jeshana Avent-Johnson, a psychologist specializing in couples, sex and family therapy; Deborah Ann Smith Pegues, author of "One-Minute Money Mentor for Women;" Dr. Kristi Funk, surgical breast specialist and founder of the Pink Lotus Breast Center; actress Cynthia Pope, nutritionist Jayme Sachii, and Lady Tee, a hip-hop recording artist.

In addition, writer Dorinda Walker will host a session. Walker, the acclaimed author of "Protected by Purpose." is also a multicultural marketer and CEO of Dorinda Walker Cultural Solutions Group, a strategic diversity marketing consultant firm. Inviting women to attend, Apostle Crawford said, "The Company touches every area women encounter, with tender-loving care.

The countless testimonies from past attendees have proven its vitality in identifying and providing real help for life's issues. This will be a concentrated time of empowerment, mentoring, relaxation, entertainment, flourishing together coupled with fun activities."
