Visitors crowd in Kusumba Mosque in Naogaon People are seen spending quality times with their friends and relatives at the Kusumba Mosque in Naogaon on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr. -Lokman Ali

The Kusumba Mosque of Naogaon is one of the most wonderful architectural beauties of the Muslims. People started to visit this place in the afternoon of Eid and stayed there till 10:00 pm. They are thankful to the administration for the overall security taken for the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr but they faced problems too as there were no good quality of canteens and people coming from far also suffered because of having no residential hotels.

This mosque is around 33 kilometers away from main town adjacent to Naogaon-Rajshahi highway which was built by a person named Solayman in 1558 during the reign of Sultan Gias Uddin Bahadur Shah carrying around sixty one years old history. There is a huge dighi in front of the mosque which volume is about seventy seven bigha. There are two beautiful stairs to go down to the dighi. Visitors wash their hands and mouths with the cold water and reduce tiredness.

Every year on the day of Eid thousands of men and women come to visit this place along with friends and families. Purnima Rani a housewife told The Asian Age that as her husband is a government employee she didn't get the chance of visiting this place frequently but believing the words religion is for the individuals, festive is everyone's she came to visit Kusumba mosque with her husband on the occasion of Eid.
