Popular actor Zahid Hasan has a lot to offer this Eid. He has starred in both Eid special drama serials and teleplays being aired on different TV channels. Zahid will be seen in seven-episode short-length drama serial 'Dey Dour', being aired on Banglavision at 6:10pm.
Besides, he will be seen in ETV's seven-episode drama serial 'No Ojuhaat' at 7:20pm tonight. In 'Dey Dour', the actor will be seen alongside Nusrat Imrose Tisha and Salauddin Lavlu, while No Ojuhaat stars Zahid Hasan, Nabila, Runa Khan, Shamima Naznin and others
'Short-length Eid serials are in demand among viewers. People like to watch short-length drama serials as most of these serials comprise five to ten episodes, unlike traditional drama serials which are much longer in duration,' said Zahid Hasan, who also pointed out the reason behind the rise of short-length drama serial.
'When it comes to drama serials that run for very long, people find it difficult to keep track of each and every episode due to shortage of spare time. So they prefer drama serials which are short and easier to follow,' observed Zahid.
Besides drama serials, Zahid Hasan has acted in Eid teleplays like 'Bozlu Miyar Premik Mon', 'Driver Dalim', 'Sunglass Shofq' and others. 'Most of the productions I am in are comedies designed to entertain people during Eid. I have really enjoyed shooting the Eid special programs, which I hope viewers will find entertaining,' said Zahid Hasan, who added that TV channels will face more competition from online platforms in coming days.
'TV channels are gradually losing viewers due to excessive advertisements, unlike online streaming platforms. Most of the younger generation viewers are showing interest towards releasing and watching Eid programs online,' observed Zahid.
