Mosharraf Karim, right, starrer 'Amito Se Na'
Popular actor Mosharraf Karim has earned acclaim for his acting in films like 'Joyjatra', 'Rupkothar Galpo', 'Daruchini Dwip', 'Television', 'Jalaler Galpo', 'Oggatonama', 'Halda' and others. Till date he has acted in numerous teleplays including '420', 'Chander Nijer Kono Alo Nei', 'Sikandar Box Ekhon Birat Model', 'Tini Ekjon Souvaggoban' and others.
He has been dominating the small screen for the last few years, will be seen in a number of Eid short serials and teleplays scheduled to be aired on different television channels.
The actor will be seen as saying the lead roles in short-length Eid serials '3210 Action', 'Maaf Koira Den', 'Amito Se Na' being aired on private television channel Banglavision at 6:35pm, 8:40pm and 9:55pm. The actor will also be seen in another Eid serial 'Coat Pora Bhadralok' on ETV at 10:00pm.
All these serials are comedies designed to entertain Eid revelers. Mosharraf Karim said, 'I have played diverse characters in Eid teleplays and serials, most of which are pure comedies. Around 30 teleplays and short serials starring me are being aired on different television channels'.
Among Karim-starrer single-episode teleplays being aired on different television channels this Eid are 'Gopon Thak Satya', 'Janshah Movies', 'Sei Rokom Kachchikhor', 'Amader Din Ratri', 'Uganda Masud-2', 'Daradi Majnu Kotha Bole', 'Spot Writer', 'Ekjan Ostitwahin Manusher Galpo' and others. 'I always enjoy acting in Eid teleplays and serials as these are big budget productions.
Besides, the directors spend a lot of time making those,' said Mosharraf Karim. Mosharraf Karim commenced his acting career on stage in the late 1980s as a member of theatre troupe Natyakendro. He made his small screen debut in 1999 with the teleplay 'Atithi', which was directed by Ferdous Hasan and aired on channel-I. He received much acclaim for his acting in the telefilm 'Carrom' in 2004.
