While two other Eid films 'Nolok' and 'Abar Basonto' are receiving critical acclaim. 'Password', which revolves around an underworld don, who loses the password of his Swiss bank account, also stars Bubly, Misha Sawdagar, Amit Hasan, Nader Khan, Emon and others.
'Password' is a big budget film made specifically to entertain viewers on Eid. The film has so far been running successfully at 175 cinemas,' said Iftekharuddin Nawshad, president of Bangladesh Film Exhibitors Association.
'If the film continues to run for another one or two weeks, the producer will get a good turnover and cinema-owners will also be benefitted,' added Nawshad. Vice-president of the association Mia Alauddin informed that most shows since the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr are running houseful across the country.
However, viewers are showing less interest in evening and night shows on the days when there is a match of Bangladesh cricket team in the on-going Cricket World Cup.
