Cox's Bazar District Administration organized a meeting with the District Law and Discipline Committee to maintain law and order in the district. Among various issues, preventing and controling drug trafficking, Rohingya crisis, Moheshkhali-Kutubdia traffic issue, reducing traffic congestion in the city has been widely discussed.

The meeting was held on the Shahid ATM Jafar Alam conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office on yesterday. Member of parliament Saimum Sarwar Kamal (Cox's Bazar-3) was present as the chief guest.

The meeting held under the chairmanship of District Commissioner Md Kamal Hossain. Leader of Teknaf BGB 2 Lt Col Mohammad Faisal Hasan Khan, Additional Superintendent of Police Iqbal Hossain, Additional District Magistrate M Shahjahan Ali, District AL President Advocate Sirajul Mustafa, Cox's Bazar Press Club Secretary and Cox's Bazar Journalist Union President Abu Taher Chowdhury spoke on the occasion.

At that time, senior government officials, heads of various government departments, law enforcers, journalists, people's representatives were present.
