The students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) continued their protest on yesterday to press home their 16-point demand.
One of their demands is the cancellation of Student Welfare Director Abul Kashem Mia's appointment, reports UNB. Students boycotted classes and examinations and locked the vice-chancellors office and administrative building in the morning.
They staged a four-hour sit-in at National Shaheed Minar from 11am. The campus remains closed on Thursday and Friday. The protesters said they would declare their next course of action on Saturday.
