Jamalpur Sports Academy and Dilkusha Sporting Club pulled off victory against their respective opponents in the night day of the ongoing Women's Handball League organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) on Sunday at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium under auspices of Mousumi Industries Limited.

In the day's matches, Dilkusha Sporting Club beat RN Sports Home by 25-14 goals. Dilkusha and RN finished 11-11 score in the first half. Mayna of Dilkusha scored 12 goals. Meanwhile, Jamalpur Sports Academy overpowered Quantum Foundation by 60-20 goals. The winners were ahead by 29-09 goals in the first half. Sabina Akhtar of Jamalpur netted 20 goals.

After ending the ninth day of the competition, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club are topping the point-table with 18 points including six wins while Arambagh Krira Sangha kept their second place.  

The budget of the tournament is estimated at Tk six lakh and fifty thousand. A total of nine teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the handball league.

Participating team: Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, RN Sports Home, Madaripur Handball Training Centre, Viqarunnisa Sports Club, Gafur Baluch Smrity Sangsad, Jamalpur Sports Academy, Quantum Foundation and Dilkusha Sporting Club.

Top two teams from each group will move in to the Super Four. The highest point taker team of Super Four will be the champions of the handball league.
