Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club continued their unbeaten streak of the ongoing Women's Handball League organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) after securing their seventh win of the tournament on Monday at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium under auspices of Mousumi Industries Limited.

In the 10th day's events, Mariner Youngs Club beat Viqarunnisa Sports Club by 37-26 goals to remain on top in the points table. Bhabna scored 17 goals for Mariner Youngs. Meanwhile, Dilkusha Sporting Club steamrolled Gafur Baluch Smrity Sangsad by 60-1 goals.The winners were ahead by 29-09 goals in the first half.

Sabina Akhtar of Jamalpur netted 20 goals. Sifha and Shibny netted 15 goals each for Dilkusha. On the other hand, Madaripur Handball Training Centre edged past Arambagh Krira Sangha by 29-27 goals. Madaripur's Menika scored 14 goals. The budget of the tournament is estimated at Tk six lakh and fifty thousand. A total of nine teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the handball league.

Participating team: Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, RN Sports Home, Madaripur Handball Training Centre, Viqarunnisa Sports Club, Gafur Baluch Smrity Sangsad, Jamalpur Sports Academy, Quantum Foundation and Dilkusha Sporting Club.

Top two teams from each group will move in to the Super Four. The highest point taker team of Super Four will be the champions of the handball league.
