Women's Handball League ends today

Women's Handball League ends today Madaripur Handball Training Centre scoring a goal against RN Sports Home during their Cute Women's Handball League match on Tuesday at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium. -BHF

The closing and prize giving ceremony of the ongoing Cute Women's Handball League organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) will take place today at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium under auspices of Mousumi Industries Limited.

In the yesterday's events, Madaripur Handball Training Centre outclassed RN Sports Home by 69-25 goals to move second spot of the point table. Madaripur finished the first half with the score of 39-12.

Meanwhile, Dilkusha Sporting Club edged past Viqarunnisa Sports Club by 28-26 goals. The winners were ahead in the first half by 15-12 goals. The budget of the tournament is estimated at Tk six lakh and fifty thousand. A total of nine teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the handball league.

Participating team: Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, RN Sports Home, Madaripur Handball Training Centre, Viqarunnisa Sports Club, Gafur Baluch Smrity Sangsad, Jamalpur Sports Academy, Quantum Foundation and Dilkusha Sporting Club.

Top two teams from each group moved in to the Super Four. The highest point taker team of Super Four will be the champions of the handball league. Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club are currently topping in the table with 21 points.
