"We had two dogs before, but they both died of old age. So when my neighbor bought a dog and realized that they couldn't take care of her, we decided to get Eva home. It's been 9 and a half years since and there's no one in the house who doesn't love Eva 'the most'. She's got her own unique personality -- she's so particular about everything.

She'll want to eat at a particular time, go for a walk at a particular time and if there's even a slight delay, she'll absolutely hate it. She's a perfectly self- disciplined dog! She hates sleeping alone, so she'll always come and snuggle between the both of us. She loves being pampered and hates it when we don't listen to her and give her love.

But at the same time, Eva is also very anxious. If we go out and have to leave her alone, even for a few hours, she'll be very upset. She's scared that we'll abandon her too. But we wish there was some way we could show her that we'd never do that to her. Because she's our baby...our whole word. And at the end of the day, when she comes to us, wagging her tail and looking at us with those big innocent eyes-- life just feels so complete!"
