Fundamental training on journalism held

Fundamental training on journalism held JnUJA organized a training workshop on journalism at its central auditorium on Friday. -AA

A two-day workshop titled 'Fundamental Training and Workshop on Journalism' concluded in Jagannath University (JnU) on Saturday. Jagannath University Journalists' Association (JnUJA) organized the workshop at Jagannath University Central Auditorium.

JnUJA president Humayun Kabir Himu presided over the program while Rahat Minhaj, an assistant professor of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of JnU, Julfikar Alam Manik, Bangladesh Correspondent of Newark Times, Ataur Rahman, crime reporter of Samakal, Ehsan Jowel, special correspondent of Somoy Television were present as the trainers.

A total of 123 - Participants and campus correspondents of different online and print newspapers are taking the training. On the second day (Saturday), Asif Jahangir, investigation reporter of Channel 24, SM Suza Uddin, freelancer producer of BBC World, Akhlakus Safa, senior reporter of Jamuna Television, Abu Hanif, presenter of Bangladesh Betar trained the participants. The workshop concluded through a certificate distribution ceremony yesterday.
