The numbers of internet users are rapidly growing across the world, including Bangladesh. The Internet World Stats has recently ranked Bangladesh as the fifth largest internet using country in Asia.According to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the internet has reached to 91.421 million people of the country at the end of January 2019. People now want to do everything in online. They even want to watch their favourite TV programs in online as they can watch those from anywhere and anytime in their internet connected smart phones.

The easy payment system of the subscription also contributes to raise the number of subscribers. Robi and Airtel customers can choose between a dailyand a weekly subscription pack to enjoy the content available on ZEE5. The daily pack is priced at Tk 7 and the weekly pack is priced at Tk45 only. The amount will be simply deducted from their mobile balance whereas NetFlix subscribers need to pay the bill by using credit cards.
