President M Abdul Hamid will exchange greetings with the cross section of people at Bangabhaban on the day of holy Eid-ul-Azha, the second biggest religious festival of the Muslims. "The programme will begin at 10:30 am at Bangabhaban . . . The President will also deliver a short speech on the occasion," President's press secretary Mohammad Joynal Abedin told media on Saturday.
The head of the state will exchange Eid greetings with the people of all classes and professions, including senior politicians, judges, poets, litterateurs, writers, journalists, teachers, intellectuals and civil and military officials, he added. Earlier, President Hamid is scheduled to perform his Eid-ul-Ahza prayers at the National Eidgah in front of the High Court in the capital at 8 am, reports BSS.
