Bangladeshi globetrotter faces problem in Italy Kazi Asma Ajmery

Kazi Asma Azmery is the lone globetrotter who has visited 111 countries bearing Bangladeshi passport to make people across the globe know about the culture and nature of Bangladesh. But she has recent fallen in a trouble while visiting Italy. As she lost her passport, she had to overstay there for a few days.

Azmery lost her passport in Italy's Milan city on August 16 and managed to have a new one on August 27 through Bangladesh embassy. But she had to stay a few days more than the period granted in her visa, which was until August 22.

She has communicated with the Italian immigration department, but they have not cooperated with her in this regard. 

Azmery started her global tour venture in 2007 through visiting Thailand as the first country. She set a record of touring 100 countries in 2018 by stepping on Turkmenistan. 

Azmery said, "I don't visit countries for my own popularity. I do it as a hobby and to take the culture of Bangladesh to peoples of different corners of the world."

The countries and territories Azmery already visited include India, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong in 2009, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Brunei, China, Macau, the England, France, Scotland, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Myanmar, South Korea, North Korea, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Indonesia and Japan in 2010, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Cook Island and Tonga in 2012, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Solomon Islands, New Kiribati, Taiwan, Vanuatu and the USA in 2013, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador in 2014, Port Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Belize, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Aruba in 2015, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Moldavia, Poland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Hungary, Serbia, Norway and Kuwait in 2016, Cuba, Samoa and Qatar in 2018, and the Philippines, Mongolia, Russia, Canada, Georgia, Belarus and Azerbaijan in 2019.
