Noab seeks status-quo on new wage board recommendations

Newspaper Owners' Association of Bangladesh (Noab) on Sunday filed a petition seeking status-quo on implementation of the recommendations of the Ninth Wage Board for journalists as ordered by the High Court.The appeal was filed with Chamber Judge Hasan Foez Siddique who sent it to a full bench of the Appellate Division for hearing on October 20.
 
On August 6, the HC issued an order to maintain a status-quo for two months on implementing the recommendations of the Ninth Wage Board for journalists.
