As a Bangladeshi- born so young writer, I am not a lucky man at all since I never did hear his lecture directly. A good number of Bangladeshi economists, writers, think-tanks still now wait to hear his research-based speech.
Renowned people of Bangladesh feel him for his outstanding delivery in any sessions arranged by financial regulators, training institutes run by both public and private sectors.
The audience sitting before him never loses their attention while going on lecture sessions led by him. He has become an icon in Bangladesh in respect of contributing a series of knowledge sharing sessions held across the country.
I am not more than 35 now. In this stage, I got an opportunity to meet him in Dhaka as one of Bangladeshi well-wishers of him. Soon after seeing him, I became passionate to him because I never thought of introducing with him who has already earned global exposure.
However, discussions on various issues between us ended with entertainment offered by him. It was one of red-letter days in my life, no doubt. While talking to him, I had been completely astonished to hear his experience.
With hearing moments, he passed, I thought he was not comparable to none at all in this sub-continent. Truly speaking, I passed a nice moment in Dhaka with Arup Chowdhury and I am proud of the moment.

As being chairman and CEO of a Kolkata -based consulting and training firm named Acasia Global Consulting LLP; he is invited from world's reputed financial institutions to lend his wisdom. The banking industry of India hires him as a trainer of Risk and Compliance Management. He also acted a Risk advisor of several banks and companies in India.
Apart from serving in his homeland- India, he frequently visits Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany and UK among others with a view to imparting his research -based knowledge. Mr Choudhuri is widely involved with several economic and financial researches with national and international level organizations like Dun & Bradstreet, KPMG, PWC and European Union.
I am truly proud of Arup Chowdhuri since he was born in blue-blooded family. His father Keshab Chandra Choudhuri was a professor and Head of the department of Calcutta University. His mother Pratima Choudhuri was the principal of Vidyasagar College for women, his wife Kanika Chatterjee Choudhuri is a professor of Ethics of Calcutta University.
I cannot but express my optimum satisfaction over his global performance, which he had been doing for a few decades. I think he will surely make room in the world as one of trainers through his highly enthusiastic professionalism.
If Bangladesh can open the door to get him as a trainer and consultant, a good number of financial institutions would be benefited much. As a Bangladeshi writer, I want to tell briefly about him that his birth seems to be blessing to two nations- India and Bangladesh as I did never see such a hard worker like him in this continent. Nevertheless, he always tries to bridge the gap between India and Bangladesh to promote relations.
To conclude, I expect his move in Bangladesh in the days to come to be empowered with his vast wisdom. His footprint here in Bangladesh is expected to bolster our economy if he is invited by Bangladeshi policymakers.
