Country's top ranked private higher educational institute, East West University's English Conversation Club (EWUECC) has returned its much acclaimed and awaited session 'Let's Talk Music', with the second edition featured popular musician Raef Al Hasan Rafa on Monday at the university campus, reports UNB.
Rafa earned his fame for being a regular drummer and lyricist of country's one of the most popular band 'Aurthohin' for 15 years, and later he formed his own band 'Avoidrafa'.
"I did not obtain a degree from any university, but I focused on being someone through my dedication towards music because I believed my hard works will pay off. And now, here I am- discussing music and my journey with it to all of you in a reputed university of our country" - Rafa shared his feelings with the crowd.
Apart from being a music composer, music director and singer, Rafa is also a lyricist who is known for Aurthohin's popular songs such as 'Anmone', 'Nikrishto etc. He also collaborated with reputed musical acts including Fuad, Topu and many more.
East West University's multi-diversified society, English Conversation Club (EWUECC) told UNB that it brought Rafa to enlighten and entertain the enthusiastic audiences with his practical and emotional journey in Bangladeshi music industry.
