Shilpakala Academy receives ‘Outstanding Organisastion award’

Chinese Embassy in Dhaka honored Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy with ‘Outstanding Organisation Award’ for its special contributions to culture at a Chinese exhibition launched at the academy recently.

Academy Director Liaquat Ali Lucky received the award on Friday while Education Minister Dipu Moni and Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming, among others, were present, said a press release of Shilpakala Academy.

Addressing the event, Liaquat Ali said the friendly relation between China and Bangladesh will be strengthened through exchange of cultural exchanges.

The 10-day exhibition at the Shilpakala Academy will continue until October 10.
