RAB held 2 Yaba dealers in Gazipur

RAB-1 members arrested two Yaba dealers, including 2000 Yaba tablets from Vogra in the metropolis of Gazipur. Company Commander of RAB-1 Porabari camp's Commander Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Mamun confirms the arrest. They were detained in front of the Borsha Cinema Hall in Vogra area on Monday night at 2pm.

The arrested are Saidur Islam (30), son of Abdul Hai of Jordighi village of Ghatail upazila of Tangail and Harun Mia (34), son of Faiz Ali of Safiachala village of Sakhipur upazila.

Commander Lieutenant Abdullah Al-Mamun said, According to the secret news, they can find out that a large shipment of yaba from Cox's Bazar through SA transport is coming to Vogra area of Gazipur. Later, the RAB members located the area and arrested them in front of the SA Transport Office.

During the period, they were recovered two new washing machines with 18,700 piece Yaba tablets, 3 mobile phones and cash 5,800 Tk. He also informed that upon interrogation, the defendants confessed they were an international Yaba dealer.

For a long time, they imported Yaba tablets from smugglers and brought them to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and to Gazipur by courier service and SA transportation.
