Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury Nowfel on Wednesday said that steps will be taken to investigate and action will be taken accordingly if the allegations are lodged against the Jahangirnagar University (JU) administration with any specific information.
He said, "Legal action will be taken if the allegations against the university administration are found to be true. However, the complainants will face action if the allegations are not proved." A deadlock has been created at Jahangirnagar University as a faction of students and teachers has been on a movement demanding the removal of their Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam on corruption charges.
