National Productivity Organization (NPO) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) to work together for increasing productivity in different sectors of the national economy.
In presence of Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim, NPO Director Mohammad Salauddin and DCCI President Osama Taseer inked the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at a function at the Industries Ministry in the city, according to a press release.
Senior officials of the Industries Ministry were present on the occasion. Addressing the function, Abdul Halim said Bangladesh is moving fast to be an economically developed country and there have already been positive changes in all sectors, including the industrial sector. "The world community is lauding Bangladesh for the positive changes," he added.
