Talented students accorded reception A student receiving education materials at a program organized by Rabeya Khatun Smriti Pathagar and Aksir Chowdhurty Charity Trust School in Akhaura of Brahmanbaria on Friday. -AA

Talented students who achieved brilliant results in the Primary Education Completion (PEC) examination have been accorded reception and education materials were distributed in Akhaura of Brahmanbaria on Friday.

Rabeya Khatun Smriti Pathagar and Aksir Chowdhury Charity Trust School jointly organized the program on the premises of Rabeya Khatun Smriti Pathagar in Dhaleshwar village under Akhaura upazila of Bahmanbaria.

Bangladesh Muktijoddha Academy Trust Chairman Dr Abul Azad was present at the program as the chief guest, while Indian litterateurs Rahul Godam,  KP Prodhan, Brahmanbaria District Muktijoddha Command ex-President Harunur Rashid, Brahmanbaria Press Club General Secretary Dipak Chowdhury Bappi, Brahmanbaria Sahitya Academy President Poet Joydul Hossain, Television Journalists' Assocation Akahura Unit General Secretary Saiful Islam, Mohona TV Akhaura Correspondent Mosharaf Hossain Kabir, My TV Akhaura Correspondent Jalal Hossain Mamun, Akhaura Press Club General Secretary Hannan Khadem, Kazi Suhin, Kazi Uzzal were present, among others.

Rabey Khatun Smirity Pathagar Founding President and Supreme Court lawyer M Aksir Ahmed Chowdhury presided over the function. Some 186 students got education materials in the program.
