The two-day Invitational Women's Table Tennis competition came to an end on Saturday at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women's Sports Complex in the city.
Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation General Secretary Jahangir Alam handed over the prizes as chief guest among the winners. Bangladesh Women's Sports Association (BWSA) President Mahbub Ara Gini presided over the closing ceremony.
Norail district beat Bogra district by 3-0 set to clinch women's TT team title while Shamanta Hossain Tushi earned the single title after beat his opponent by 3-0 set.
A total of 110 players of 13 schools from 13 districts across the country took part in single and team event of the meet, organised by Bangladesh Women's sports association (BWSA).Participating district teams were Barisal, Narayanganj, Pabna, Bogra, Dhaka, Lalmonirhat, Gaibandha, Norail, Jashore, Patuakhali, Manikganj, Jhenaidah and Rangpur.
