Netrokona Deputy Commissioner Main-UL-Islam along with Assistant Commissioner of taxes, circle-20 Faisal Saifuddin Ahmed cutting a ribbon to inaugurate a four-day long income tax fair in Netrokona on Saturday.
A four-day long income tax fair began in Netrokona on Saturday with a call for inspiring the people to pay taxes for carrying out massive development of the country. Netrokona Deputy Commissioner Main-UL-Islam formally inaugurated the fair as the chief guest, held on the office premises of the Assistant Tax Commissioner, circle-20.
Organized by the National Board of Revenue (NBR), the fair was chaired by Assistant Commissioner of taxes, circle-20 Faisal Saifuddin Ahmed and was addressed, among others, by Netrokona Superintendent of Police Akber Ali Munshi, municipality Mayor Nazrul Islam Khan, upazila Chairman Tafsiruddin Khan, Public Prosecutor Iftekharuddin Masud and Netrokona Chamber Of Commerce And Industries President Abdul Wahed.
Talking to journalists at the fair ground, Assistant Commissioner of Taxes Faisal Saifuddin Ahmed informed that the taxpayers will get the facilities to file tax returns and other tax related official works at the fair under the supervision of the concerned tax officials. "The new taxpayers will also have the opportunities to collect e-tin (electronic tax identification number) at the fair," he added.
