Govt to make all services online

Govt to make all services online Prime Minister's Advisor on Private Industries and Investment Salman F Rahman speaking at the inaugural day of the two-day 33rd conference in the city's hotel on Tuesday.

Prime Minister's Advisor on Private Industries and Investment Salman F Rahman said government had identified and made 7500 services online and they would make remaining services online by next 3 years.

He said this in the inaugural day of two day 33rd conference organized by the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) in association with the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) in the city's hotel yesterday.

Salman F said, to facilitate the digitalization we bought 4G bandwidth and we would establish data centres in every unions in the country. "A businessman can establish business in Bangladesh from anywhere in the world in 1 month and can make and complete required payments online within 2 hours" he added.

Business leaders from more than two dozen countries from Asia-Pacific region took part in the CACCI Conference to discuss on the ways to boost trade and investment. The theme for the summit was "Asia at the centre of a new world order".
