2 cow lifters held in Magura
Police arrested two suspected cow lifters from Amtoil village in Sreepur upazila on Thursday night.
The arrestees are Sabbir, 22, son of Kalam and Asad, 40, son of Matlab Mia of the village.
Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station, said local people caught Sabbir and Asad red-handed while they were lifting cows from the house of one Abdul Hakim in the night.
Later, they were handed over to police.
A case was filed in this connection.
