To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the musical life of Adity Mohsin, one of the most prominent Rabindra Sangeet singers of this sub-continent, a celebration program titled 'Arun Aloar Anjali' is scheduled to take place at 6pm at the Krishibid Institution of Bangladesh (KIB) Auditorium in Farmgate of the capital on December 6.
Jointly supported by Energypac and Purbani Group and organized by Express Events, Prime Minister's Political Adviser HT Imam will be present at the event as chief guest, while Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly Das and cultural personality Asaduzzaman Noor will be chaired as the special guests.
The program will be presided over by theatre personality Ramendu Majumdar. Transmitting fascinating muse of Rabindra Sangeet to million souls for 20 years, Adity Mohsin started her musical journey through Bangladesh's acclaimed music academy 'Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts'.
A press conference on the celebration program was held at Tawfiq Aziz Khan Seminar hall, the Daily Star building yesterday. Cultural Personality Syed Apon Ahsan, Coordinator and prominent Nazrul Sangeet singer Sadia Afrin Mallik, honorary member of the festival committee and Upol Karmakar from Expression Media were present at the press conference.
Sadia Afrin Mallik said, "Adity Mohsin has been in the music industry for a long time. She has grasped the purity of the music to heart, which is very rare to find nowadays. Celebrating her 20 years in music, all I can say that to us it is only the beginning for her, she is a wonderful singer and she will continue to do so in the future."
