Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has said that Bangladesh government has been making the best of its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Bangladesh government is working hard for the betterment of youths and underprivileged people, he further said. He called upon global stakeholders to endeavor to build up a beautiful world for the generations to come.
AHM Mustafa Kamal made these remarks on Wednesday in Seoul, South Korea while addressing the Busan Development Partnership Forum 2019. He said that the governments of all countries should work for development in education, healthcare and infrastructural sectors.
It is important to generate hope and confidence in the minds of people, he further said. He urged all nations to participate in the development process of the whole world.
AHM Mustafa Kamal sought cooperation from the world leaders to resolve the Rohingya crisis. Over one million Rohingya refugees have been sheltered in Bangladesh for last few years.
He also laid emphasis on the settlement of the unresolved issues related to Turkey, Jordan and Palestine. He commented that everyone will have to work together to save the world from the adverse effects of climate change.
