Four best Jayita awarded in Bogura

The four best Joyita were awarded on the women torture protection week and Begum Rokeya Day in Dhunat upazila of Bogura district on Monday afternoon.

The office of women affairs officer under the upazila arranged rally, discussion and award giving programmes for the four best Jayita. Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Dhunat upazila Razia Sultana presided over the function and upazila parishad chairman of Dhunat Abdul Hai Khokon.

Special guests were vice chairman Mohosin Alam, upazila health and family planning officer Dr. Hasanul Hasib, women affairs officer Ashraf Ali, upazila Information officer Anjuman Ara Shufia, Chairman Lal Mia and student Ayesha Tareque and others.

Four girls and women were awarded for promoting education, service and social welfare and they were given crest, certificates. They are Sazia Afrin for education and service, Anjona Khatun for economic development, Shirin Khatun for successful mother and Selina Khatun for social development.
