Oracle is positioned as a leader based on its completeness of vision and ability to execute for its manufacturing cloud-part of Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. Oracle has been named a leader in Gartner's 2019 "Magic Quadrant for Manufacturing Execution Systems" report.

Gartner estimates, 50% of MES solutions, by 2024 it will include industrial IoT (IIoT) platforms synchronized with microservices-based manufacturing operations management (MOM) apps, providing near-real-time transaction management, control, data collection and analytics.
