2 killed in road crash

Two people were killed and six others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Madhabdi in Narsingdi Sadar upazila on Friday. The identities of the victim could not be known yet.

The accident took place around 6 am in front of Pakija Steel Mill when the Dhaka-bound stone-laden truck from Sylhet hit the Narsingdi-bound pick-up, leaving two people killed on the spot.and six others injured, said Abu Taher Dewan, officer-in-charge of Madhabdi Police Station, reports UNB. The injured were taken to Narsingdi General Hospital.
