Three people, including a bank officer have died of coronavirus infection at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMHC). RMCH Hospital Assistant Director Saiful Ferdous Md Atartuk said, six people have died in RMCH Hospital in the last 3 days due to coronavirus. Rajshahi divisional city has now become the center of corona infection. To curb the situation, we need to make people aware of the situation and conduct drive to force people complying with health rules.
RMCH Assistant Director Saiful Ferdous Md Atartuk said, "The bank officer Mahabul Islam breathed his last in the ICU at 7.30pm last Tuesday. He worked at the private Grameen Bank in Jhenaidah. After admission in the hospital on Sunday, he was shifted to ICU at night due to the deterioration of his condition."
Recently, 8 corona patients have been admitted in RMCH ICU ward. On the other hand, some 25-26 new wards have been added for corona patients in the hospital. Necessary medical equipment has been provided. Doctors and health workers are providing services by roster. Currently the cabin and ICU have become full of patients.
Rajshahi Divisional Director (Health) said. Habibul Ahsan told reporter of the newspaper that the number of corona patients is constantly increasing. Everyone needs to be aware. A 24-hour survey of Rajshahi division has identified 160 corona in 08 districts. In Rajshahi district 29 people, Chapainawabganj 02, Naogaon 24, Natore 05, Joypurhat 04, Bogra 50, Sirajganj 26 and Pabna 20 people have been infected by corona.
