On pandamart, customers will receive a 5% discount, up to Tk50, on a minimum order value of Tk500 using code "FPBKASH50". Managing Director and Co-founder of foodpanda Bangladesh, Ambareen Rez, said: "We are introducing bKash payment to ensure that a broader customer base is able to enjoy the convenience of cashless payment."
Regarding the partnership, Mizanur Rashid, the chief commercial officer of bKash, said: "We are thrilled to be working with foodpanda to make the digital payment ecosystem more accessible, contactless and convenient for the customers." Currently, over 85% of foodpanda users tend to prefer the cash-on-delivery method. However, in a press release, the partnership hopes to make digital payments more common nationwide.
