Jebel Haque Mia (82), father of The Asian Age Saudi Arabia Bureau Chief Salim Nur, is no more. He breathed his last on Friday night at a private clinic in Basurhat of Companiganj in Noakhali. He was suffering from old age complications.

Jebel Haque Mia was a resident of Charhazari village (Abdul Aziz Chukani Bari) under the Ward number-1 in Basurhat. He was buried at his ancestral graveyard on Saturday night.

Jebel Haque Mia left behind three sons, three daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He was a prominent figure in the locality.
The Asian Age Saudi Arabia Bureau Chief Salim Nur is the eldest son of Jebel Haque.

Salim Nur in a rush arrived in Bangladesh from his workplace in Saudi Arabia to see his father for the last time and take part in the funeral.
