Very recently with the permission of the government authorities, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and supervised by the Muslim World League, 10,000 food baskets were distributed to 10,000 Rohingya families (forcibly displaced persons from Myanmar) which is located in Bhasanchar. Each basket contains 28 days of food for a family. Note that this is the first time that the work of the Muslim World League has been conducted in this island.
The distribution of food baskets is being carried out in coordination with the Relief, Refugees and Resettlement Commission (RRRC). The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Muslim World League are grateful to the Government of Bangladesh for supporting the hard work of providing food to the forcibly displaced persons from Myanmar.
