BDSIF hosts Global Peace and Humanitarian Awards 2021 in Dubai on World Peace Day

The Bangladesh Digital Social Innovation Forum and the Digital Social Innovation Forum are going to host the Global Peace and Humanitarian Award 2021 on September 21 in Dubai for the first time on the World International Day of Peace. Ali Akbar Asha, Founder President of BDSIF and DSIF informed about the event.

The Global Peace and Humanitarian Awards 2021 is presented to honor individuals and organizations whose exemplary efforts have significantly improved the lives of others and contributed consistently to a culture of peace and humanitarian service.

These prestigious awards also seek to honor those who have demonstrated great courage and creativity in their work with the ability to inspire others in their work, the ability to lead, the ability to take responsibility and the incredible honesty in difficult situations.

We are going to honor 18 people by nominating 150 people in 6 categories in this event. The categories are- 1. Interfaith Leadership, II. Leadership in Strengthening Families, 3. Outstanding Service Award, 4. 

Good Governance Award, 5. Innovative Scholarship for Peace, 6. Other Global Peace Awards. Consecutively we have published the link to submit the nomination on our official event website. At the same time, many platforms around the world, including Youth Opportunity, Evansi.com, Day of Dubai, 

UN Action Network, have been showcased to apply for the event. Nomination application process will be officially closed on 15th August at 11:59 PM Bangladesh time. So far, we have received 1562 applications from 31 countries of the world. The final nomination list will be released in a press release by August 18.
