A workshop titled Green Energy: A way towards the Sustainable Development' and `Physics in Biology: Medical Radioisotope production to Nuclear Medicine' was held at the virtual conference room of Cumilla University on Tuesday. Organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the university, all the teachers of Science faculty attended the workshop.
Cumilla University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest while Science faculty dean Dr Dulal Chandra Nandi was present as special guest.
Addressing the workshop, VC Professor Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury said, "Once knowledge was practiced in this Shalban Bihar of Cumilla. Cumilla University is located in that place which suitable for the pursuit of knowledge and an ideal place for the creation of knowledge as well.
"Those university teachers have done PhD are philosopher and have a high level of knowledge. I am hopeful that you will continue to strive to improve the quality of education at the university by realizing the importance of the workshop topics by spontaneously participating in this workshop", the VC added.
Chaired by IQAC Director Professor Dr Bishwajit Chandra Deb, Chattogram University Physics Department Professor Dr AKM Mainul Haque Miazi and Chemistry Department Associate Professor Dr Foysal Islam Chowhdury addressed the workshop.
The workshop was conducted by Mahfuzur Rahman, Lecturer of Marketing Department of the university.
