Bhumika Chawla opens up about her absence in Bollywood

Bhumika Chawla marked her debut in Salman Khan starrer 'Tere Naam' in 2003. The actress received a lot of appreciation and love from the audience for her performance in the film. Recently, during a conversation with a website, the actress opened up about her absence in Bollywood. She stated that there were times when good scripts came to her, however, she was busy with another project. On the other hand, sometimes scripts were really good but things didn't work out as expected and some didn't match with her sensibilities.

She added that this increases a gap in the film industry and fraternity starts thinking that the actress is not up for the work. She added that she has been quite active in the South film industry. The actress went on to add that she would love to take up new projects now. The actress was last seen in the Telugu romantic comedy titled 'Paagal'. She will next feature in Tamil film 'Kannai Nambathey', Telugu film 'Seetimaarr' and 'Operation Majnu' in Hindi.
