Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Sunday said a vested quarter has been hatching conspiracy for long to hinder development activities of the government"Bangladesh is moving towards development, but a vested quarter cannot tolerate this. So, some isolated incidents are happening at times," he said while talking to reporters after visiting the factory of IFAD Autos Limited in Bathuli area of Dhamrai upazila. The minister said that a vested quarter has been hatching conspiracy round the clock to obstruct the development activities of the government for a long time, reports BSS.
"But none of their conspiracies will succeed," he said, adding that Bangladesh is now a role model of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Local lawmaker Benazir Ahmed and IFAD Group Managing Director Tanvir Ahmed, among others, were present on the occasion.
