Four BD workers die in Saudi factory fire
Four Bangladeshi workers died in a fire that broke out at a furniture factory at Manfuha in Riyadh city of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Samiul Islam alias Saddam, 30, son of Syed Ali of Khajura Sreepurpara village, Jamal Hossain Molla, 45, son of Gafur Mollah, Asim, 27, son of Ajer Ali of Janardanbati village, and Amirul Islam, son of Sekandar Ali of Bhatopara village in Naldanga upazila of Natore district.

Quoting the victims’ families, Khalilur Rahman, chairman of Khajura union parishad, said the fire ensued from an electric short circuit at the factory around 5:00pm (Bangladesh time), leaving the four Bangladeshi workers dead on the spot.
