Soft Power has become the most common usage all around the globe. It is through the medium of Soft Power we find that countries cream images could be displayed to other parts of the globe. As the entire globe is in the midst of technological and scientific advancement then we find it is high time for India to rise up to the occasion to match her level of macro level of excellence to global standard.
Very recently Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi India must rise up to the occasion through proper utilization of Soft Power. Before I delve into details let me first state for the cognizance of my revered online readers of India as well as that of Bangladesh that what actually the term, 'Soft Power' is referred to in common man's parlance. Thus the said term is referred to as such that refers to proper utilization of India's age old culture and moral values for the upgradation of the country's indigenous features to international level.
During the past couple of years the citizens of India evince from close quarters that we became more prone towards acceptance of colonial culture instead of imbibing our indigenous culture and heritage to the Western World. As our closest South Asian neighbor Peoples Republic of Bangladesh who is instrumental in deliverance of indigenous culture to Western nations of the globe. It is already known to us that Bangladesh possesses closer cultural resemblance with India. That is why Bangladesh has earned encomiums from the Western World mainly because of the above reason.
Now the time has rightly arrived that India must desperately aim forward to utilize properly soft power instead of hard power which they were clinging on during the past couple of years. It is through proper utilization of soft power by India she will be in a position to earn wide ranging adulations from the citizens around the globe. Through Hard Power if India tries to achieve supremacy but it is already felt by analytical minded citizens of the country that she will not be in a position to rise up to cliff. Thus in the subsequent paragraph it is my earnest endeavor to introspect about proper utilization of soft power towards cognizance of the Western World or western countries.
The age of Indian Independence is exactly 74 years of age. It was on August 15, 1947 India achieved Independence from the clutches of colonial conflagration dividing the Independent nation into two parts, India and Pakistan with her Western and Eastern par. The Eastern part of Pakistan became separated once again in the year 1971 on December 16 from erstwhile West Pakistan thereby the Independent nation has been renamed as Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. After that prolonged decades have elapsed with multifarious changes have taken place in both nations. As my focusing country in this column centers upon India hence throwing deep light purely upon my motherland. Later on I shall give short touch upon Bangladesh. As regards India's potential is concerned we find we are more focused upon inheriting Western culture with intermingling of violence and friction between our fellow countryperson as well as with some of overseas destinations especially to some extent our closer and friendly South Asian nations. It is high time for India to focus more on upgradation of indigenous culture which is referred to as Soft Power.
That is why in Western World it has been detected from close quarters that India's rich indigenous culture and heritage has been widely appreciated by the countries of Western World. So far India seemed to have lain emphasize upon economic indicators, expansion of defense aspects and demographic evolution. Now picture or trend has changed drastically. That is why India seemed to have emphasized upon proper usage of Soft Power for country's development during the upcoming days of our lives. In order to change India's stance towards proper utilization of Soft Power we must pay due emphasize upon upliftment of our basic moralities and values. On other areas like music, food, technology, Bollywood and Tollywood India's achievement should be highlighted in bolt and blue. Whereas through Hard Power, as stated above India will not be able to rise up to the desired level. So in the subsequent paragraph it is my humble task to trace out the advantages of Soft Power.
