DU IBA graduation ceremony held at BICC

The graduation ceremony of BBA 25th batch, MBA 61st batch, EMBA 35th and 36th batch and DBA program of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University (DU), was held on Friday (January 14) at Banga-bandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital. Director of IBA Prof Mohammad Abdul Momen presided over the function. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman attended the ceremony as the chief guest.CEO & MD of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd Zaved Akhtar attended it as the Graduation Speaker.

The function was also addressed, among others, by IBA Associate Prof Iftekharul Amin.  DU VC Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman said, "DU IBA is a unique and prestigious institute which has been producing skilled business graduates since its inception. IBA graduates needs to play a pivotal role in establishing knowledge & technology-based, equitable and inclusive society for achieving SDGs by 2030."

"Bangladesh is now the role model of development under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. IBA graduates will equip themselves with humanitarian values and contribute to enhance socio-economical development specially business sector of the country," the VC further said.  He also thanked the graduates for completion of their respective program successfully. A total of 310 students of different batches were awarded graduation degree in the ceremony.
