President Parade held in BAF Academy

 
The President Parade (Summer)-2022 marking the commissioning of 80 BAFA (Bangladesh Air Force Academy) Course and Direct Entry-2022 A of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Jashore, BAF Academy parade ground on Thursday (02-06-2022). Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan attended the ceremony as chief guest. He reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salutes at the impressive march past. Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman received the Chief Guest on his arrival. After reviewing the parade, the Air Chief handed over trophies and flying badges among the graduating Officer Cadets.

Officer Cadet Md Zahir Uddin Babor, GD(P) was awarded with the coveted 'Sword of Honour' for his best all round performance, received 'Birsreshto Matiur Rahman Trophy' for his best performance in Flying Training and awarded 'Commandants Trophy' for his best performance in General service Training in No 80 BAFA Course. Officer Cadet Paromita Sharmin, ATC received 'Chief of Air Staff Trophy' for her best all round performance in No 80 BAFA Course (Ground Branch). In this Summer Semester No. 1 Squadron was adjudged as the Champion Squadron and was accorded Academy colour.
