'Padma Bridge dream comes true with hands of Hasina'

 
The dream of landmark Padma Bridge has come true with the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said speakers at a discussion on Tuesday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the program on the successful completion of Padma Bridge at the Foreign Affairs Academy in the capital.

The speakers said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took the bold decision of constructing the bridge with our own resources. They highlighted the importance of the multipurpose bridge in the socio-economic development of Bangladesh and mentioned the positive remarks of foreign dignitaries and media for the successful completion of Padma Bridge.

Foreign Minister Dr Abdul Momen virtually attended the function as the chief guest while Prime Minister's Economic Affairs Adviser

Dr. Mashiur Rahman , State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, Bangladesh Ambassador to Germany Mosharraf  Hossain Bhuiyan and Dhaka University Professor Dr. Selim Raihan also spoke at the event.Foreign Service Academy Rector Ambassador Asad Alam Siam gave the opening remarks and Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen conferred the vote of thanks.
