Faridpur Correspondent, Ehsan Rana: The pride of Faridpur, the accomplished son of Bengal, rural poet Jasimuddin. He has many poems. Among them, Asmani's house in Asmani Namkaran Kavita was in Rasulpur village of Ward No. 3 of Ishan Gopalpur Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila.
'If you all want to see Asmani, go to Rasulpur, Rahiuddin's little house'.
This famous poem was written by Palli Kavi. Among Asmani's few children, one is found begging and his name is Ashraful. He is sometimes seen begging in Faridpur city. I met him. Then it is known that Ashraful is the son of Asmani from the famous Asmani poem.
When asked about the current situation of his life, Asmani's son Ashraful said that he was doing well by working hard. But in 2014 disaster came in his life. In 2014, Ashraful, on his way back from Dhaka to Faridpur, a micro bus happened at Goland Ghat in Rajbari district. His right hand was broken in the accident. Due to the lack of money, he could not get treatment, now he is completely sick. He has no other choice but to beg, in the pursuit of survival, he has to eat food and live life to get his hands from door to door.
Asmani's son Ashraful also said that the former chairman of Ishan Gopalpur Union Parishad, Nuruzzaman Chowdhury Pankaj, gave me full support with allowance and whenever necessary, he helped me as much as possible. But Shahidul Islam Majnu, the current chairman of Ishan Gopalpur, after being elected, stopped all my allowances and expressed his inability to help me. I am asking for prayers and help from all the countrymen to live well so that I can live well.
In this regard, the former chairman of Ishan Gopalpur, Nuruzzaman Chowdhury Pankaj, said that Ashraful is the child of Asmani in the famous Asmani poem of Palli poet Jasimuddin, I have provided all kinds of support to Ashraful, including allowances, and am still doing so.
Shahidul Islam, the current chairman of Ishan Gopalpur Union, tried to contact him on his mobile phone, but his phone was switched off.
