Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that police department is trying to extradite Arav Khan alias Rabiul Islam Apon from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through the help of Interpol. We have gathered some vital information. We are scrutinizing the facts and figures we have received." However, the Home Minister did not give any categorical answer to the question on the fact that Arav Khan holds an Indian passport.

Journalists also asked Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal about the arrest of actress Mahi under the Digital Security Act. Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, "I have heard that Mahi has said a few words on Facebook live about Gazipur commissioner Mollah Nazrul Islam which is why the case against Mahi was lodged.
