Huawei seeds for the future Bangladeshi

 
The six winners of Huawei's Seeds For The Future 2023, Bangladesh, have started their China tour. During this ten-day tour, they will participate in  Technology and cultural exchange programs, visit Huawei's world class R&D Centers & Headquarters, experience Traditional and Modern China and attend "Talent Summit 2023".

This year's Seeds For The Future winners are Mohammad Ajmain Fatin and Arpan Saha, DU (EEE); Farsia Kawsar Chowdhury, BUET (ME); Mayeesha Farjana, RUET (CSE); Sajid Ahmed Chowdhury (CSE) and ALL Mumtahina Arika, (EEE) from IUT.

Focusing on developing a robust ICT ecosystem in the country, Huawei has arranged 'Seeds For The Future' in Bangladesh for the 10th time this year. More than 600 applications were submitted this year. The top 20 students were selected for the final round based on their profile, concept, and presentation merit. From the top 20, the six winners were selected through several interviews and presentations on empowering society with ICT.

Regarding This, Jason Li, Board Member and Director of Public Affairs and Communications for Huawei South Asia, said, "Huawei's Seeds For The Future Initiative intends to empower Bangladesh's youth with the power of knowledge in ICT. We all know that ICT is the future.

Through this visit to China, the students will gather real-time knowledge on ICT industry and how it can benefit the society. Our solemn goal behind 'Seeds For The Future' is to empower the youth so that they can take the helm of Smart Bangladesh in future. I wish this year's winners best of luck for this trip."

It is mentioned that 'Seeds for the Future' is Huawei's globally-recognized flagship program, cultivating digital talent for 15 years. More than 15,000 students globally have benefitted from this initiative. In Bangladesh, the program supports the students to be part of a robust ICT ecosystem that Huawei is trying to build. Initiatives like this will catalyze the 'Smart Bangladesh' journey while ensuring that the young get the right opportunities to hone their skills and drive Bangladesh towards the new digital transformation era.
